Setting up a kiosk tablet

Turn a tablet into a self check-in or self-checkout kiosk.

Any tablet with a current web browser can run a Forge kiosk. See Hardware.

  1. Open the staff portal on the tablet and sign in.
  2. Choose the kiosk you want: Self check-in for members checking themselves in, or Self checkout for concessions. Machine inspections run from any staff phone or tablet instead.
  3. Leave it running. The kiosk stays on that screen. A staff PIN is needed to leave it.
  4. Mount it and keep it charged, in a spot your front desk can see.
