Is there a contract?
Yes. Using Forge requires a software license agreement. There's no term agreement, though, so you're never tied to Forge for a set length of time. Cancel any time. How to cancel:
How much are extra locations?
Your first location is $55 a month, and each additional location is $35 a month. The $300 setup is one time for the whole business, not per location. There's no limit on locations. Running a large group of gyms? Reach out to us for enterprise sales.
Are there tiers or add-ons?
No. Every feature is included, and you choose what's switched on.
What does the setup fee cover?
Getting your gym up and running on Forge. It's charged once for the whole business, no matter how many locations you have.
Do I need a new website?
No. Forge runs on its own: members join, pay, and book through Forge's own sign-up pages and member app. Forge doesn't plug into other websites, so your current site stays exactly as it is. If you'd like a new website too, the price builder shows the website option.
Who processes card payments?
Stripe, on your gym's own Stripe account. Your members pay your gym directly.
What are the card fees?
Stripe's own rates, passed through at cost. They're listed on the pricing page.
Does Forge store card numbers?
Card payments run through Stripe, so card numbers are handled by Stripe.
What hardware do I need?
The bare minimum is a laptop, a desktop setup, or a tablet. For most standard gyms we recommend two desktops or laptops, two QR code scanners, and a self check-in kiosk tablet. Some tablets may not be compatible, so check with us first. See what you need.
What hardware can I get from you?
A front desk computer, a QR code scanner, a camera, a self check-in kiosk, a self checkout tablet and card terminal for concessions, a phone for machine inspections, and custom QR and NFC stickers for your machines. Pick what you need in the price builder.
Which door systems work with Forge?
Forge is compatible with most door systems, and is built to connect with door systems like Brivo. Not every door system is compatible, so we check yours before you sign up. See hardware and door access.
What moves over from my current software?
Members, membership plans, cards on file, and visit history.
Will members have to re-enter their cards?
It depends on Stripe's process and your current provider's process. We'll check yours and tell you plainly before you switch.
Who does the import?
You export your member list as a spreadsheet file, and we import it during setup.
